The magical story comes to life when the train departs
one hour long round-trip journey to the North Pole.
Set to the sounds of the motion
picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the story as they are
whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™. Once onboard,
passengers are served hot chocolate and a cookie treat by Polar Express Chefs
and everyone receives a ceramic souvenir Polar Express mug.
During the first leg of the journey
to the North Pole passengers read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar
Express, by Chris Van Allsburg.
Santa will board the train at the North Pole, and during the return trip will
walk through each car giving out the “first gift of Christmas” – a silver sleigh
bell – to each child 12 years and under. Everyone joins in and sings Christmas
carols as the train makes its way back to the Stettler station. Please note:

RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED
Reservations can be arranged by phone using MasterCard
or VISA. Although we can usually accommodate passengers without reservations,
we do sell out and a reservation guarantees seating.
THE POLAR EXPRESS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
THE POLAR EXPRESS train cancellations will be accepted up
until departure. No refunds will be made once the train has left the station.
The Polar Express cancellations will receive a 50 percent refund of all monies
paid up until the date and time of departure and the return of unused tickets.
There will be no refunds after the fact.
RECOMMENDED TRAVEL TIMES
A leisurely drive from Calgary will take approximately
three hours and, from Edmonton, two and one-half hours.
