THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride
A Major Alberta Attraction - Great For The Whole Family

All trains depart and return to Stettler, Alberta
(Updated: Wednesday December 07, 2016)

The magical story comes to life when the train departs Stettler for a one hour long round-trip journey to the North Pole.

Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™. Once onboard, passengers are served hot chocolate and a cookie treat by Polar Express Chefs and everyone receives a ceramic souvenir Polar Express mug. During the first leg of the journey to the North Pole passengers read along with the Christmas classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Santa will board the train at the North Pole, and during the return trip will walk through each car giving out the “first gift of Christmas” – a silver coloured sleigh bell – to each child 12 years and under. Everyone joins in and sings Christmas carols as the train makes its way back to the Stettler station.
Please note: Restrooms are available at the train station. There are no bathrooms in service on board the train. The train ride is one hour long, so please plan accordingly. There will be time to shop in the gift store on arrival back from the North Pole. There is no gift store on board the train.

SEATS ON ALBERTA PRAIRIE TRAINS ARE ALL FIRST CLASS AND RECEIVE THE SAME PERKS.
