This trip lasts five (5) hours and travels to the Village of Big Valley. Enjoy live entertainment on the train, a full-course buffet-style Leg Ham meal including scalloped potatoes, roasted dilled carrots, caesar salad, and dessert served in the community hall. You will also have time to visit the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres, and the cars and household artifacts at McAlister’s Garage Museum. Be sure to also spend some time at the Vintage Tool and Collectibles Museum, south-west of the station, exploring the huge antique tool collection, plus model trucks and tractors, and a doll collection. Don’t forget to stop in and check out Granny’s Fudge Factory, All That Buzz, and Jimmy Jock Boardwalk. Big Valley Mine payroll is on board the train and increases the danger of being hit by the horse-mounted outlaw gang, the Reynolds Raiders.
