This trip last six (6) hours and travels to the Village of Big Valley. Upon arrival in Big Valley, you will be invited to make your way to the community hall to feast on steak and lobster, and enjoy the music of Fiddles ‘n Stix, a Down-East band. And what would a Newfoundlander Special be without complementary “East Coast” beer and Newfoundland berry wine? Following your meal, there will be time to visit many of the community’s attractions, including the Canadian Northern Railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s , McAlister’s Garage Museum, the Vintage Tool and Collectibles Museum, the Rail Car Museum, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Somewhere along the way, there is a high likelihood that the train will be halted and passengers robbed by the infamous Reynolds Raiders.
