No children, please! This excursion is for those who would like to ride the train without the bustle and excitement of children. Travelling to the Village of Big Valley, this trip lasts five (5) hours and includes live entertainment onboard the train. Also included is a full-course buffet-style baked ham and scalloped potato meal with cream cheese corn, green salad, and dessert served at the community hall. You will also have time to explore the history of a once-booming railway town. Visit a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern Railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, McAlister’s Garage Museum, the Vintage Tool and Collectibles Museum, the Rail Car Museum, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Remember to stop in and check out the local shops including All That Buzz, Granny’s Fudge Factory, and Jimmy Jock Boardwalk. There is a high likelihood of an attack by the mounted train robbers, the Reynolds Raiders.
