This trip includes full course buffet style Alberta roast of beef and gravy meal at hall in Big Valley, live entertainment both in the coaches and in the Lone Star Saloon on board the train. In Big Valley there is time to visit Jimmy Jock Boardwalk and explore a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, McAlister Motors community museum, Big Valley Hand-tool and Collectables Museum, Big Valley Museum on rails, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres are a must see. One of the featured attractions on this excursion is Finnegan Farms Petting Zoo. Be sure to check it out.
