This round-trip train journey travels to the Village of Big Valley and includes live entertainment on board, a full-course buffet-style meal featuring Canadian AA roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, caesar salad, dilled carrots, and dessert, served at the community hall in Big Valley. You will also have time to explore the history of a once-booming railway town. Visit a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern Railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, McAlister’s Garage Museum, the Vintage Tool and Collectibles Museum, the Rail Car Museum, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Remember to check our the local shops including All That Buzz, Granny’s Fudge Factory, and Jimmy Jock Boardwalk. There is a high likelihood of an attack by the mounted train robbers, the Reynolds Raiders.
