Children 13 years and younger, accompanied by an adult and a teddy bear, ride free on this five (5) hour trip travelling to the Village of Big Valley. Children are invited to join in on a teddy bear parade just before departure on the return trip. Every child will receive a prize. This trip also includes entertainment specially for the children and a buffet-style meal including chicken strips, potato wedges, gravy, buttered corn, coleslaw, and dessert. You will also have time to explore the history of a once-booming railway town. Visit a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern Railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, McAlister’s Garage Museum, the Vintage Tool and Collectibles Museum, the Rail Car Museum, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Please note that train robberies are not part of this excursion.
