Excursion Schedule

These popular train trips have everything and include a rail excursion lasting between three and six hours, a full course buffet style meal at destination, entertainment, sightseeing & maybe even a train robbery. Alberta Prairie's trips are great for adults, children and families. The destination for excursions is Alberta Prairie's Country Hideaway and as in previous years the train will also be traveling to the Village of Big Valley which was the divisional point for the Canadian Northern Railway in the early 1900s. Feature attractions include a restored railway station, roundhouse interpretive centre, St. Edmund Church and Jimmy Jock Boardwalk.
