This trip lasts five and one-half (5.5) hours, and includes a bonus barbecued AAA ribeye steak, chuckwagon beans, oven broasted potatoes, Caesar salad, dinner rolls, and pastry deserts at no charge buffet style meal in Big Valley, live entertainment both in the coaches and in the Lone Star Saloon, time to visit Jimmy Jock Boardwalk and explore a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, the McAlister Motors community museum, the Big Valley Hand-tool and Collectables Museum, the Big Valley Museum on rails, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Sunday, July 14th is also the second day of Alberta Prairie’s annual Live Steam Show Special. Please note the Reynolds Raiders have been spotted in the area.
